Minster Stoves provided a truly excellent service, with work finished to the highest standard. They fitted a new fireplace, stove and flue liner, and replastered where needed.

Len was helpful and communicative in the first stage of selecting both fireplace and stove. The fireplace needed to be built by Worcester Marble and adjusted from the default measurements. This needed a lot of care and attention: once the stone was cut it would be impossible to change. Len was very patient and helpful with our ongoing process of adjusting the dimensions until it was perfect for our space.

Len and Alex removed a large red brick fireplace with gas fire a few weeks before the new installation and did much of the re-plastering work at this time. They were always friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. It's the small touches which often count - the care to minimise dust as far as possible, for example, and everything was done attentively and without fuss.

The main installation took place over a couple of days and it was a joy to have them working here. We are very happy with the result.

Alex returned for a day to do some work on the flooring and did a brilliant job on this too.

There's usually a downside somewhere. But we have been unable to find one. 100% satisfied with a great service.

Portway Rochester 7kW stove installed by Len and Alex, very experienced, cheerful and good humoured, they worked hard to get it up and running in time for Christmas. Looks great, very neat high quality installation , they take great pride in their work.  Stove design efficiency has advanced a lot from earlier types we've used, it heats up fast and radiates much more heat from each log. Len's wife Chris handles the admin very professionally, keeping us informed throughout. All the legal certification is covered. First rate service from start to finish.
Len was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process of supplying and fitting our new fire, hearth and backboard. He provided help and advice to enable us to consider our options and make the right choices for our requirements.
During the fitting he was extremely pleasant and friendly. His workmanship and attention to detail was second to none. Despite having to remove concrete and other debris there was no mess at all and everything was left nice, clean and tidy.

What a phenomenal team and service. A really professional and exceptionally helpful family business. Recommended by Clearview Stoves and rightly so. Sensible practical advice on site to get the very best results. Work done to the highest standards. Job required some additional stone work removal. Done with great care and cleanliness. These guys are lovely to work with. I thought I had a bird stuck behind my fireplace and they came out at no charge and checked it thoroughly for me, even so much as going up the attic to check that all the pipes were sealed. A rapid response to our initial email, with a quick visit to assess the problem and a planned date to return and fit a new boiler. After moving into our new home we had a substantial list of unexpected plumbing and heating jobs which needed sorting asap. Although we were new to the area and didn't know who to contact, we certainly hit the jackpot with Len! From fitting a new woodburner (including chimney repair and new chimney stack), through to the new boiler (via innumerable other plumbing issues too numerous to list) Len was the man for the job! Whether working alone, or with colleague Tim, he was conscientious, hardworking, reliable, tidy and a pleasure to have around.
